Mid Level Personal Trainers (Part Time)

Mid level personal trainer's responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Designing safe, effective and inspiring programs as prescribed via the clubs Pro Fitness Program.
• Building one's personal training clientele from very strong club referral program as well as from your own drive, energy, and ambition.
• Providing personal training demonstrations and members assistance sessions to clients per protocol of the Pro Fitness Program.
• Ensuring all administrative duties per protocol of the Pro Fitness Program is completed in a timely manner.
• An outgoing, friendly, vivacious and enthusiastic demeanor
• A mature and professional manner and appearance
• Excellent organizational skills and be able to learn new systems in a timely manner
• Excellent communication skills and enjoy being a team player
• Enjoy working with members of all ages and have a passion for fitness
• 2 national personal training certifications OR fitness related degree plus 1 national personal training certification
• 2 years previous personal training experience
• Current CPR/AED or willing to certify (free online certification course provided if necessary upon employment acceptance)
• Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends, holidays, and inclement weather
• Solid references

Retro Fitness of Fort Lee, NJ offers the following compensation:

• $28-$34 per hour for one-on-one training sessions
• $32-$38 per hour for partner training sessions
• $15-$21 for 30-minute training sessions
• 5% paid on New PT Cash for personal training packages sold by a Personal Trainer.
• 2.5% paid on New PT Cash for personal training packages sold by a Personal Trainer from a personal training demonstration.

Advancement potential:

• Ability to advance to senior level trainer with experience, additional certifications, and job performance.
