Job Title: Manager – Operations Planning & Scheduling

Location: Bismarck, USA • Salary: $20‑30 per hour

Educational Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze future flight schedules from 36‑365 days ahead to assess operational feasibility.
• Develop and evaluate new scheduling standards to meet operational needs and present proposals to operations and network planning teams.
• Coordinate with airports, NOC, operational and network planning units to align schedule design with operational demands.
• Represent the Operations Planning organization during hub and station visits, ensuring communication and alignment on schedule design and station capacity.
• Create materials for government‑level presentations and executive briefings.
• Provide data‑driven insights to the Customer Experience & Analytics team to support customer‑centric operations decisions.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 4+ years of experience in airline or community scheduling or operations.
• Understanding of airport and/or network operation functions.
• Knowledge of scheduling standards and hub economics.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Reference check required to confirm qualifications.
• Reliable attendance is essential.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree.
• 10+ years of experience in airline aircraft scheduling, routing, or hub operations.
• Proficiency with United scheduling tools (e.g., Timetable Manager, Airvision, FAM, SDO) and planning gate‑keeping tools.
